Reid Consultants offer a unique service of helping people through finance management. Our mission is to help people achieve long term financial independence through different life stages with well thought out wealth creation strategies.

Our service is based on a combination of education, professional qualifications and experience. You get the professional lending skills and experience backed by a solid accounting background with financial planning education and qualifications.

We will sit down and listen to what you want to achieve and work a strategy to help you do that, whether it is to finance a business, purchase an investment property, refinance to reduce your monthly commitments or achieve a lifestyle not currently possible. It is about helping you achieve your financial goals and unlocking your financial potential.

Our services are particularly suited to people with circumstances outside the ordinary:

• self employed; combining business and personal needs. The finance structure needs to factor in accounting and tax implications.
• seniors; the over 60s market, working or retired. The understanding of retirement income streams, social security and estate planning issues is critical to help achieve the lifestyle goals sought.
• commercial needs; The accounting and tax issues are key components to correctly structure finance to achieve your needs and to control borrowing costs and cash flow requirements.

Reid Consultants offers an initial meeting at no cost to you with no obligation, to sit down and listen about your circumstances and what your needs are.

From there, you can get a sense of wanting to work with us as a trusted professional or not. It is your decision and your lifestyle needs that are paramount.

Once we are comfortable with each other, then we will obtain all the personal and financial information required to form a strategy and look at the options available.

In most cases, strategies undertaken involve financing or lending and Reid Consultants will be paid by the lender. We are not employed by any particular lender and do not have a bias.

All fees will be disclosed so you will have peace of mind. There are no hidden costs. For other circumstances any fees charged will be an upfront fee for services or an hourly rate. This will be agreed on before proceeding.

• a member of Loans Actually (winner of MIAA 2006 Excellence Award) and PLAN (Professional Lenders Association Network)
• Accredited Mortgage Consultant with MIAA (Mortgage Industry Association of Australia)
• a member of COST, credit ombudsman service
